Start by devising a practical plan. Now that you know the mental position you need, you realize your goals, and your motivation is pushing you along, it's time to put together your plan of action. You must know where you are going before you can get there, which illustrates, that you must have a plan of action.
Many times the planning of daily tasks is just done and not thought about. Especially things we do over and over again. It's easy to forget that we even have a plan of action to begin with. We just sort of do them and they get done. Therefore, thinking and putting together a plan may seem foreign but it doesn't have to be. It's actually common sense.
Let's say that your goal is to earn $10,000 more this year and you want to bring in 20 affiliates per month starting now, or get 20 sales depending on the program you are in.
Evaluate what it is that you know or don't know. If learning and education is needed to accomplish this, then part of your plan will be to acquire the material needed to learn it. Plan how you're going to find this information, and to what extent your time will be spent reading and studying.
Another part of your plan may be to use this information to start doing. Of course this is self explanatory. You've read the material that tells you how to do what you're trying to do, now start DOING.
For example: you have learned that ezine advertising is the fastest way to get a large numer of hits. Therefore you need to find ezines. After doing some homework, you realize that the easiest way to find these ezines is to use an ezine directory.
As you can see, with each piece of information learned, your plan of action evolves and changes. You will need a plan for each phase to continuously grow your knowledge and your project. You will find this to be true with all plans of action!
The plan must be well thought out and followed through.
If a person who needs to get from point A to point B knows a taxi is the best way to get there, but never takes the time to hail a cab, then they obviously will not get there. It's the same with any plan. Follow the plan through. No one ever climbed a ladder with their hands in their pockets.
The key to your plan of action is to first realizing mental positioning, goals, motivation and then to truly THINK about what it is you want vs. what it is you are DOING,
Another important thing to remember is that your plan will ALWAYS change! Learning to flow with changes can become frustrating since you've already gotten your plan going and you know what you're going to do. If a wrench gets thrown into your wheel of action, stop, look it over, take the wrench out, evaluate why it got thrown in there to begin with, tweak your plan a little and keep rolling.
You will always have a plan that is in action as long as you own your own business and you will always have wrenches in the way, so get used to them! They are actually an opportunity rather than a problem, because you now have the opportunity to learn something new. This will make you a better person and will make you more knowledgeable in your field.
